Pastor and Presiding Minister
Chris is the one who casts and protects God's vision for Celebration.In preaching and the Sacraments, Chris equips God's people to be Jesus-followers in their daily lives.His call as a pastor also includes "speaking publicly to the world in solidarity with the poor and oppressed, calling for justice and proclaiming God's love for the world."
Rebecca McDonald Assisting Minister for Celebrating (Morning and Special Worship)
Rebecca ministers among us at Celebration by overseeing how we CELEBRATE CHRIST through worship, music, ritual and the creative arts. Her responsibilities include: planning and leading worship that is EPIC, and equipping God's people to provide worship leadership.
Mary Lee ministers among us as one who teaches us how to CARE FOR OTHERS by praying, offering pastoral care and spiritual support for God's people, especially during times of illness, grief, or crisis. Mary Lee is currently in the candidacy process to become a commissioned Associate in Ministry (AIM) of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She also provides worship leadership on Sunday mornings.
Shelli Williamson Assisting Minister for Connections
Shelli oversees the important ministry of ensuring connections are made with first and second time guests, between the church leadership and regular worshippers of Celebration, and between Celebration and the local community. Shelli publishes our weekly e-celebrates, updates our website, sets up our monthly Noisy Offerings, provides project coordination, as well as other administrative tasks at the Ministry Center.
Karri leads our children on great adventures of faith! She is the lead person for children's ministry on Sunday mornings, and Karri provides creative direction to milestones and other social and faith activities for children and their families.
Mike provides primary direction for Room1, our Sunday evening missional community. Mike sets the tone for the worship experience, leads music, and shares in the preaching and teaching ministry. Mike also coaches Celebration in its commitment to be a post-modern congregation.
Carolyn is the newest addition to our Ministry Team! She is responsible for
developing a youth ministry strategy, coordinating monthly events for youth,
providing leadership to the confirmation ministry, and partnering with other
key leaders in celebrating, caring and serving.
Elected to lead Celebration in identifying our resources and
setting them free for worship, mission, and ministry.
Our Elders could also be known as Directors and Deacons.
