At Celebration, we understand that being connected to our larger community is essential to being a church.  We have a vested interest in being a community leader in creating and sustaining a vibrant, safe, and healthy community.

This is why Celebration actively supports local community organizations and efforts, such as Cypress Assistance Ministries and One Prayer.  We are also a sponsor congregation of Good Samaritan Homes.   Through our monthly Noisy Offerings, we have supported:  Souper Bowl of Caring; Reach Unlimited; hurricane recovery through Lutheran Disaster Relief; Robison Elementary School; Camp Lutherhill, and many others!

We also realize that we are part of a global community.  This is why we use Fair Trade products whenever possible.

The planet is a gift from the Creator, to be shared with all of God's creatures.  As human beings, we have a responsibility to care for the earth and for our fellow residents, so that future generations may have a sustainable environment.

At Celebration we are committed to being good stewards.  We limit the amount of paper we use for worship (that is why we do not have Sunday bulletins or paper newsletters!); we have a neighborhood paper recycling bin at our Ministry Center; and we are a "greening congregation." 

We seek to follow God's call to care for the poor and to stand with the marginalized.  At Celebration, we welcome everyone regardless of race, nationality, age, disability, political affiliation, income, history, gender or sexual identity,

Our commitment is to "spend ourselves" for the poor.   We regularly participate in ministries and support organizations that offer dignity and assistance to those in need.
