I plan to attend worship at Celebration. What can I expect as a first-time visitor?
We’re delighted that you’re thinking about visiting Celebration and would love to have you worship with us!
We understand that visiting a new church can be intimidating, and that first-time visitors feel more comfortable when they know what to expect in advance. You'll find answers to some frequently asked questions below.
If you don’t get answers to your questions here, please email us at info@click2celebrate.com or send us a Facebook message!
When and where is the worship service?
As of November 2, 2025, worship is at 9:30 AM on Sundays. We are located at 16215 Prairie Lea St., Cypress, TX 77429. We meet in a house, not a church building!
After worship, we have educational programs for children, youth, and adults from 11 AM - noon.
What should I wear?
Most of us wear casual clothes like jeans or shorts and t-shirts; wear any clothing that you feel comfortable in!
What is a typical worship service like?
Our worship services normally include contemporary Christian music, a Bible reading followed by a sermon based on that reading, prayers, communion (aka the Eucharist or Lord’s Supper), announcements, and a closing blessing. On the first Sunday of each month, we also collect a Noisy Offering (coins or dollars placed in tin cans) that we donate to various nonprofit organizations and celebrate birthdays and anniversaries.
Who can receive communion?
Anyone who wants to! Jesus didn't exclude people, and neither do we. You will be invited to come forward and receive a piece of bread to dip in your choice of grape juice or wine. If you cannot come forward but want communion, just let us know and we'll come to you.
What will my kids be doing?
We hope they'll be worshipping with you! We're used to and happy to have kids who talk, run, dance, etc. throughout worship and the service usually includes a children's sermon.
We also offer three programs for children and youth after worship (from 11 AM - noon): Godly Play for K - 2nd graders; Celebration Seekers for 3rd - 5th graders; and Confirmation for middle and high schoolers. These groups normally meet every Sunday except during the summer and holiday breaks.
How will I/we be treated as a LGBTQ+ individual/family?
Just like everyone else at Celebration! We see members of the LGBTQ+ community as beloved siblings and believe people of all sexual/romantic orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions are part of God’s good creation.
Is there coffee?
Yes! We serve fair trade coffee, often accompanied by donuts or other snacks.
How do I access the worship bulletin?
When you enter you will see a QR code. Scan it with your phone to access our Linktree page, which includes a link to the bulletin. We also have tablets with the bulletin pre-loaded on them.
